Our new dining table doityourself. Uugnaa and I have long dreamed of a low table, as we had seen it in countless films. A meal at the 10 € coffee table with sawed off legs of our neighbors (German-Japanese family with girls in Anu's age convinced) us from the practice and a book about living in Korea (the top 10 000, of course, but so what) gave ideas. My father was in the old calf barn or 10cm thick slabs of poplar, which in 1990 was cut from the hedge. Thus, a plate, we have reduced to dining table length, sanded and waxed. Towards the edges are all the channels from then
woodworm infestation and to see a thick knot-hole could not be leveled with wax. Father has given us of old door hinges, box and other scrap Gruber tines welded together a frame, which we last have screwed week.
And now we enjoy our dinner table, especially Anu and least my relatives, all of which can not sit on the floor because of knee problems, long legs, age, etc, etc. .. T_T
Uugnaa had a week off, in which he probably thought that he is the ceiling on the head when we are not all possible residential beautification activities Stü ; shorten. Anu Sun now has a separate, large cot, which is using it we finally managed to move them at night in her own bed and room. Your room, we have rearranged our living room too. The piano had to get out Anu's room and into the living room, so we had to rebuild and shorten the shelf, whereby we nearly crashed on his head XD (anchoring or stabilizing the cross have a sense of who would have thought it XD) .. So passed this week with room and building, and now Anu and I alone at home one more week until I go back to the university and goes to Grandma and Anu Gundula.
I just read the book "Love yourself and do not care who you marry." Ahr .. Very helpful but sorely needed. Even though the title comes to marriage, I can recommend it to anyone who somehow has to bite in a relationship. If the university starts again, is no more time for something, so I think I ran * g *.
Next semester I want to make the intermediate examination, then it will probably continue to remain pretty quiet here.
