Since this semester we will learn Classical Chinese, which is the traditional characters, some of which have been simplified in the 70s (that's the "Modern Chinese" what we learn mainly). Maybe so I can read at the end a little Japanese. Since I'm curious :-).
Our vocabulary is, however, because it is the old written language, limited to particular historical relevance, such as "Prince", "linen", "Writings of Confucius," and so on. The procedure of Latin met me again and again in classic Mongolian and Chinese. It is always the same combination of crafts old texts that are historically interesting, and somehow you manage to turn a little gut feeling must .. ^ ^
Let's see what brings me to the future, but it gives me fun anyway.
